Vegetarian Lentils Burger
Today we bring you a vegetarian recipe to eat lentils in a different way, especially in summer, because it's harder for us to eat them stewed in the traditional way.
Ingredients for 2 servings:- 3.5 oz of lentils- 1 small onion- 1/4 green pepper- 1/3 leek- 1 clove garlic- Mix of grated cheeses (mozzarella and cheddar)- Salt- Black pepper- 1 egg- Bread crumbs- Olive oil- Cherry tomatoes
Recipe:- Soak the lentils for 8 hours.- Cook them in boiling water with a pinch of salt until they are soft.- Crush them in a chopper and place them in a bowl.- Wash the pepper and leek well.- Peel the garlic and onion.- Also shred the vegetables in the chopper and place them in the bowl.- Add the mixture of grated cheeses, a little salt and pepper and mix well.- Add the beaten egg and some breadcrumbs until you see that the mixture can be handled.- Shape the hamburgers.- Stir in a large skillet with a drizzle of hot olive oil until golden.- Wash and cut some cherry tomatoes in half to place as an accompaniment.
