Banana Bread... with a Chocolate Twist :-)
Banana BreadAfter 3+ year in the States it was about time I tried to make a good Banana Bread Cake! I looked to many recipes and anded up with this fefe's version of Banana Bread, that for sure is not 100% american but, I can assure you, was delicious!
It's super fast to prepare (no more than 20 minutes, but it needs 45 minutes to cook though) and it actually doesn't even required a mixer. The only ingredient you need to beat is the egg but you can easily do it with a fork or a whisk, they don't have to be fluffy, then it is just a matter of adding all the other ingredients. I know I did it with the mixer :-) but not only cause I'm lazy, more cause it's easier to take pictures for the recipe!!
I added, to the traditional recipes, the yogurt to make it more soft and the chocolate chip, just cause I can't imagine a cake for me without chocolate, but if you want to make it more healthy you can substitute the chocolate with raisin. (In my defense I can also say my husband doesn't like raisin so I don't use them ofter)
