Our Thanksgiving was pretty nonexistent.
Wait. Wait. Waaaaaiiiit.
Before your eyes bug out of your head and you question the legitimacy of me as a food blogger, we had a VERY good reason to forgo all the turkey festivities this year.
You see, Boy?s birthday generally falls AROUND Thanksgiving, but this year his birthday fell ON Thanksgiving.
And, it wasn?t just ANY birthday.
It was a BIG one (it happens to rhyme with lordy… but, shhhh don?t tell him I told you that.  And, just so you know, I happen to be maaaany years his junior 😉)
Therefore we decided to skip the harvest holiday and opt to solely celebrate my favorite person in the whole wide world instead.
And you know what"  We had a blast.
So, sorry, not sorry turkey, gravy and stretchy waist pants.  See ya next year.
