Apple Toffee Oatmeal Cookies
Apple Toffee Oatmeal Cookies- these chewy cookies are perfect for a fall breakfast, snack, or dessert. A combination of fresh Granny Smith apple, toffee bits, walnuts, and spices gives these glazed cookies so much wonderful fall flavor.
Chewy Texture
I love the chewy texture of these oatmeal cookies. A high ratio of oats to flour gives them a wonderful texture and flavor. They go great with a glass of milk or warm apple cider.
How To Make Apple Toffee Oatmeal Cookies
In a large bowl, whisk together the dry ingredients.
In a medium bowl, whisk together the brown sugar, melted butter, applesauce, and egg.
Add butter mixture to flour mixture and stir just until combined.
Stir in chopped apple, toffee bits, and walnuts.
Measure out 1 1/2 tablespoons of batter for each cookie and place on parchment-paper lined baking sheets. Note: They will hardly spread so you don’t need to space them far apart. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes.
Let cool and then drizzle with glaze. Bet you can’t eat just one!
