There’s no pre-cooking needed for this easy slow cooker recipe. Just add all the ingredients to the slow cooker and 4 to 6 hours later, you have deliciously flavored chicken that is super easy to shred.
Ingredients Needed For Slow Cooker Hot Honey Chicken
6 to 8 boneless, skinless chicken thighs. You can use bone-in if you wish. The bones can easily be removed and discarded at the end of cooking. Chicken breasts can be used instead, but they will not be as tender and juicy and flavorful. Also, keep in mind that chicken breasts take a little less time to cook.Cayenne Pepper– use more or less depending on how spicy you want it.Smoked Paprika and regular Paprika– add flavor and a beautiful red color.Garlic Powder– you can substitute 2 minced garlic cloves.Salt and PepperKetchupHoneyCornstarch– to thicken the sauce.
