Honestly, some of my all-time favorite memories revolve around Christmas morning and the food.
Growing up, every Christmas morning I would wake up to the smell of my mother?s monkey bread.
Fresh from the oven and smothered with the most addicting glaze, the thought of mama?s monkey bread will always elicit ALL the warm and cozy feels. And the feels of a very happy belly.  Obvi.
We?d open our presents and nibble on (read: devour) the warm, cinnamon-sugar covered bread while my mother snapped the obligatory photos of us with each and EVERY opened present.
As I got older the tradition never changed, it just involved mimosas once I was of age.  ?
Now that I don?t live in the same state as my mother, Boy and I are forced to make our own, novel traditions.
And it?s safe to say, I finally hit the JACKPOT of all Christmas (New Year, Birthday, whatever special occasion, or simply because it?s Sunday) brunch ideas and found our new tradition?
